A funeral service for Mrs. Frances M. Richardson, age 84, of Lake Murvaul, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dale Reed officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, TX. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Richardson passed away on Saturday morning, Jan. 11, 2014, in Longview.

Frances M. McKee Richardson was born on Oct. 19, 1929, in Woodville, TX to the late Jackson and Magalene Crosby McKee and step-mother, Mary Hambrick McKee. She married Garland Bruce Richardson on Oct. 5, 1951, in Kountze, TX and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1990. Mrs. Richardson was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #353 Ladies Auxiliary where she held many offices. She loved quilting, crocheting, and playing darts. Mrs. Richardson moved to the area in 1980, from Pasadena, TX. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Richardson was also preceded in death by one grandson, Darrell Owens and two great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Hall and Brandon Kerns.

Mrs. Richardson is survived by three sons, John B. Stanley of Pasadena, Michael B. Richardson and wife Brenda of Pasadena, and Pat M. Richardson and wife Rosemary of McGregor; one daughter, Suzanne R. Kerns and husband Danny of Carthage; one brother, Herman McKee and wife Nell of Silsbee; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Shane Kerns, Ty Richardson, James Stanley, Scott Stanley, Duane Owens, and Daniel Olivarez.
