Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Bell, age 72, of the Dotson Community in Panola County, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Taylor and Rev. Leon Veazey officiating. Interment will follow in Murvaul Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bell passed away on Sunday night, Aug. 12, 2012, at her home in Dotson.

Frances Ann Guyon Bell was born on Oct. 19, 1939, in Pasadena, TX to Roy Dixon and Leola Dale King Guyon. Mrs. Bell married Johnny Ray Bell on Feb. 23, 1959, in Pasadena and he preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2010. She moved to Panola County in 1985 from Pasadena and was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. Mrs. Bell was also preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Janet Bell Dyess.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her mother, Dale Guyon of Carthage; two daughters, Leslie Bell Finch and husband Fred of Dallas and Jenny Johnson and husband Ricky of Carthage; and eight grandchildren, Marisa Dyess, Adam Dyess and wife Nadine, Jarod Dyess, Jacob Finch, Annabelle Finch, Gracie Johnson, Abbie Johnson, and Cooper Johnson.

Serving as pallbearers are Adam Dyess, Jarod Dyess, Travis Nutt, Jacob Finch, Mac McConnell, Frank Miller, and Marcus Phillips.
