Obituary

A graveside service for Flimmie Lucille Hudgins Garrison, 96, of the Six Mile Community near Hemphill, TX, formerly of Long Branch and Mt. Enterprise, TX, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Clayton Cemetery with Pastor Marty Grounds officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Garrison passed away on Monday morning, April 20, 2015, in Hemphill.

Flimmie Lucille Hudgins Garrison was born on May 11, 1918, in Center, TX, to the late Melton Luther and Pear Lee Anderson Hudgins. She married Nick Carter Garrison and he preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1997. She moved from Long Branch to Mt. Enterprise, where she was a member of the Sulpher Springs Baptist Church. In 2010, Mrs. Garrison moved from Mt. Enterprise to the Six Mile Community near Hemphill. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles R. Sprayberry.

Mrs. Garrison is survived by her daughter, Ruby Lucille Hebert and husband Joe of Mt. Enterprise; daughter-in-law, Wanda Sprayberry of the Six Mile Community near Hemphill; three step-daughters, Omega, Nikki, and Dana; six grandchildren, Charles Lane, Shawn, James, Michael, Sharon, and Jason; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
