Obituary
Graveside Services for Flanoy Holden Choate, 90 yrs. of Benton, Arkansas will be held at Antioch Cemetery near Carthage, Texas on Sunday afternoon, September 11, 2011 at 3:30 p.m., under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mr. Choate passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011 in Benton.
Mr. Flanoy Holden Choate was born September 30, 1920 in Marshall, TX to Homer and Rosie Choate. Flanoy worked as a purchasing agent for United Gas Pipeline for many years, and was a member of Holiday Ramblers, Good Sam Camping Club and First Baptist Church of Benton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Annie Laura Roquemore Choate who died July 28, 2005.
Mr. Choate is survived by two sons, Robert (Tim) Choate of Benton, and Richard Roy Choate of Decatur, Alabama; one daughter, Anitta Choate Bounds of Benton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
