Filiberta Dominguez, 66, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Thursday afternoon, April 6, 2023, at her home in Carthage. She was born on February 4, 1957, in Monterrey, Mexico to the late Manuel and Pascuala Covarrubias Dominguez. She moved to Carthage in 1995, from Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. Filiberta was a member of the St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church in Carthage. She loved gardening, cooking, and dancing. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Jose Dominguez and grandson, Khyler Kruz Saucedo.

She is survived by her children, Juan Saucedo (Missy), Guadalupe Saucedo (Pablo), Veronica Saucedo, Luis Saucedo (Mercy), and Javier Saucedo (Kristy), siblings, Andrea Dominguez (Jose Marentes), Yolanda Dominguez (Felipe Garcia), Carmela Dominguez (Luis Garcia), Polo Dominguez (Rita), and Albaro Dominguez (Ma. Refujio); grandchildren, Selena Saucedo, Marcus Saucedo, Jobany Saucedo, Ethan Poindexter, Brandon Medrano, Mauricio Medrano, Kevin Torres, Mia Torres, Michael Saucedo, Kayden Saucedo, Mason Saucedo, Adrian Saucedo, Julian Saucedo, and Aaron Saucedo; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Maddox, Malena, and Kayden.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023, at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Father Steve Paradis officiating.  Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Marcus Saucedo, Jobany Saucedo, Brandon Medrano, Kevin Torres, Michael Saucedo, Adrian Saucedo, and Mauricio Medrano.
