IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Faye Sanderson
Bridges
January 24, 1930 – April 10, 2022
Faye Sanderson Bridges, 92, of De Berry, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday morning, April 10, 2022, at her home surrounded by family and friends. Some of her last comments were, "I want to go home to be with Jesus and your Daddy." She was born on Jan. 24, 1930, in Childress, TX where she was raised. The majority of her adult life was spent in Amarillo where she retired as Office/Property Manager for Lake Tanglewood, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Murphy; and her husbands, which included the love of her life, Harold Dale Sanderson. Her favorite things to do were sitting in her patio rocker singing off key to Randy Travis religious hymns, watching hummingbirds and the birdfeeders through her binoculars, plus scrutinizing the flower beds during her evening walks.
She is survived by her children, Janice Coulter of Southlake, Quentin Hix and wife Joanne of Southlake, Donna Roquemore and husband Mike of De Berry, and Be'Anne Kuhrts of Bloomfield, NM; brothers, Wayne Murphy and wife Gwen and Marvin Bass and wife Sondra all of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren and their spouses; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and dozens of special friends who love and admire her.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at De Berry Cemetery with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A visitation will follow the graveside service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Plus, Dr. Deepti Govathoti, Jackie Bell, Crystal Barnes, Shuronda Maxie, Alvina Roberson, and Linda Ross for all the love, care, and friendship.
