Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Marcheta Moore, age 71 of Malvern, Arkansas formerly of Gary, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bobby Peek officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Moore passed away on Wednesday evening, July 9, 2008 in Hot Springs.

Evelyn Marcheta Moore was born on April 2, 1937 in Many, Louisiana to Marvin and Martha Weatherly Ramsey. She married Herman George Moore on January 4, 1984. Mrs. Moore was a member of Murvaul Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, James Allen Ramsey.

Mrs. Moore is survived by one daughter, Vicki Gray of Monterey, LA; one son, Greyland Woodrum and wife Diana of Gary, TX; one sister, Carolyn Michna of Malvern; four brothers, Marvin Ramsey and wife Charlotte of Houston, Garland Ramsey of Houston, Talmadge Ramsey and wife Kathy of Flint Stone, and Larry Ramsey of Houston; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mrs. Moore.

Serving as pallbearers are Herbie Munholland, Eddie Tarver, Larry Lowe, Steven Brown, Justin Brown, John Ballard, and Chad Woodrum.
