Esther Mae Vanderboss Williams, 79, of Beckville, passed away on Monday morning, Aug. 15, 2016, in Tyler. She was born on Jan. 10, 1937, in Brownsville to the late Charles Robert and Dorotea "Dorothy" Ramirez Vanderboss. She married James Charles Williams on Sept. 11, 1954, in Houston. Mrs. Williams enjoyed shopping, sewing, crocheting, and cooking. She loved and enjoyed the company of her dog "Pretty Boy" very much. Mrs. Williams moved to Beckville from Galveston in 1969, and was a faithful and devoted member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Henderson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Alfred, Norman, and Arthur Vanderboss and Cora Vasquez.
Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Diffey and husband Ronnie of Pine Hill and Ginger Adams of Carthage; grandchildren, James Brandon Diffey and Tiffany Anne Blank and husband Jason all of Pine Hill; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Brandi Blank and Samantha and Joshua Adams.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Ed Haley and Pastor Raul Benitez officiating. Interment will follow in Connor Cemetery, Beckville. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
