Ernest Tubbs, 61, of Panola, TX, passed away on Tuesday morning, March 30, 2021, at his home in Panola. Oliver Ernest Tubbs was born in Shreveport, LA on May 5, 1959, to Robert Louis and Patsy Ruth Miller Tubbs. He worked for many years as a mechanic at Transmissions, Inc. in Bossier City, LA. Ernest moved to Panola from Bossier City and was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Peggy Jo Herman.

Survivors include his mother, Patsy Tubbs and siblings, Wesley Tubbs and Tina Pardue all of Panola.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
