Obituary

A funeral service for Mrs. Elayne Trimble, age 93, of Holly Lake Ranch, TX, formerly of Carthage and Dallas, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel, 1131 SH 149, in Carthage with Pastor Bill Eubank officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m. at Memoryland Memorial Park in Greenville, TX. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Trimble passed away on Sunday morning, Jan. 6, 2013, in Tyler.

Wylma Elayne Sanford Trimble was born on Dec. 16, 1919, in Paris, TX to Clyde Fagg and Cleo Eiland Sanford. She graduated from Greenville High School with the class of 1936 and later earned an associate's degree from Wesley Jr. College in Greenville. Mrs. Trimble married Rob D. Trimble, Jr. on June 21, 1942, in Greenville and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1996. She worked in banking until her retirement. Mrs. Trimble was of the Disciples of Christ Faith. She lived in Carthage from 1949-1969, at which time she moved to Dallas. In 1984, Mrs. Trimble moved from Dallas to Holly Lake Ranch where she was a member of the Holly Tree Chapel. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clyde Fagg Sanford, Jr.

Mrs. Trimble is survived by one daughter, Toni Biggs and husband Warren of Carthage; one son, Rob Trimble and wife Suzy of Whitehouse; five grandchildren, Rob Trimble IV and wife Laurie, Katy Ybarra and husband Sonny, and Tom Trimble and wife Amanda all of Whitehouse, Brian Biggs and wife Amy of San Antonio and Brett Biggs and wife Melissa of Carthage; ten great-grandchildren, Kailey Biggs, Jackson and Sloan Biggs, Sy and Sully Ybarra, Fiver, Reid, and Emma Trimble, and Maggie and Anna Trimble.

Serving as pallbearers are Brian Biggs, Brett Biggs, Rob Trimble, IV, Tom Trimble, Sonny Ybarra, and Dr. Fagg Sanford.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff and nurses of The Hamptons and The Hamptons Plus of Tyler and Hospice of East Texas for the loving care given to Mrs. Trimble.
