Eddie Ray Robinson, 67, of Clayton, TX, passed away on Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2019, in Longview. He was born on July 25, 1951, in Carthage, TX to the late Donald Ray and Judith Alta Green Robinson. He graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1970, and attended Panola College. Eddie Ray married Priscilla Jane Eatinger on June 3, 1976, in Clayton. He worked for Pierce Construction in the oil and gas construction business until his retirement. Eddie Ray was a member of the Gary and Carthage Masonic Lodges, Sharon Temple Shrine, and York Rite Bodies. He was a member and first fire chief of the Clayton V.F.D. He lived his lifetime in Panola County and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Clayton.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Robinson of Clayton; son, Tim Robinson and wife Dana of Logan; daughter, Lindsey Mott and husband Joe Frank of Lufkin; sister, Donnette Parks and husband Edward of Clayton; aunt, Betty McCord and husband Kenneth of Marietta, TX; and grandchildren, Sammy Robinson, Taylor Mills, and David and Phoebe Mott. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dale Reed and Dock Lazarine officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow in Clayton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Roy "Cutter" Carpenter, Mike Pellum, Corey Robinson, Brad Robinson, Joe Frank Mott, and Clay Standard.

Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Clayton VFD and the Masonic Lodge.
