Dwain Harvey Rieke

Dwain Harvey Rieke, age 56, formerly of Beckville, Texas, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, September 9, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on December 22, 1969, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Dock Harvey “Jack” and Rebecca Gaile Osburn Rieke. Dwain attended schools in Arlington and Beckville. He married Judith Junice Johnson on December 28, 2009, in Longview, Texas.

Dwain worked in carpentry and construction for many years and later worked as a cook. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. Dwain grew up attending Pine Grove Assembly in Beckville, and more recently, he enjoyed attending Bible study at Avir Overton. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Rieke, and sister-in-law, Kristi Malone Rieke.

Dwain is survived by his mother and stepfather, Gaile and Roger Toon; wife, Judy Rieke; children, Kimberly Holt, Madaline Ellis and husband Hunter, and Ashton Rieke and wife Seanna; grandchildren, Sadie, Josey, and Kenzie Ellis, and Baby Rieke, who is expected in November; and siblings, Royce Rieke, Lisa Ross, Rondalyn Rieke Manousos and husband Levi, Josh Toon and wife Laura, and Jennifer Toon.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jackie Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
