A funeral service for Mr. Duane Alan Page, age 66, of the Snap Community in Panola County, TX, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in the Del Ray Community with Rev. Danny Carter and Rev. Greg Edwards officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Walton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Page passed away on Friday morning, July 12, 2013, at his home in the Snap Community.

Duane Alan Page was born on Dec. 12, 1946, in Portsmith, NH to Samuel Theodore and Marion Euer Page. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor's Degree and later did graduate work at UT Tyler. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. Mr. Page married Janice Carol Posey on Apr. 27, 1985, in Houston. He moved to Panola County in 1991, from Houston and was a member of the Ebenezer U.M.C. Mr. Page was preceded in death by his father; one sister-in-law, Sandra Posey; one brother-in-law, Jimmie Scott; two nephews, Douglas Wayne Freeman and Aaron Thane; and his in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Posey.

Mr. Page is survived by his mother, Marion Page of Memphis, TN; his wife, Janice Posey Page of Snap; one sister, Shelly Bauer and husband John of Memphis; two brothers-in-law, Robert A. Posey and wife Mary Lou of Snap and Alfred Posey of Del Ray; one sister-in-law, Dona Scott of Snap; and numerous very special nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are J.T. Sokol, Steven Sokol, Brant Prewitt, Michael Kelly, Garrett Soape, Mike Bagley, Antonio Neris, and Carlos Neris.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Robert A. Posey and Alfred Posey.
