Doris Williams, 90, of Tatum, passed away on Wednesday morning, Aug. 8, 2018, in Longview. Doris Marie Brown was born on Aug. 11, 1927, in Goose Creek, TX to the late Steve Wilson and Etta Mae Oliphant Brown. She married Norman Alvin Williams on Oct. 11, 1954, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2010. Mrs. Williams worked as a beautician and at Brookshire's Food Store for many years. She moved to Tatum from Longview in 1954, and was a member of the Tatum United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Ralph, Ernest, Joe, William, Steve, and Vernon Brown; and sister, Ernestine Winn.

Mrs. Williams is survived by sons, Norman Dennis Williams and wife Florinda and David Brown Williams and wife Paula all of Tatum; sister, Shirley Lyons of Lufkin; grandchildren, Paul David Williams of Tatum, Wendy Marie Williams of Tatum, Brooks Williams and wife Leslie of Longview, Kristina Marie Berrier and husband Joseph of San Antonio, and Veronica Viesca of Tyler; great-grandchildren Baylor and Paisley Williams of Tatum; and step-great-grandchild, Greyson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwain Smith officiating. A private inurnment will be held at Tatum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the memorial service.
