A funeral service for Mrs. Donya House Falk, age 71, of the Galloway Community in Panola County, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mervin Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Old Prospect Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Falk passed away on Tuesday afternoon, July 30, 2013, in Longview.
Donya Laverne House Falk was born on June 5, 1942, in Houston, TX to the late Robert Franklin and Macy Donya Hibbard House. She married Thomas Tex Falk on June 30, 1962, in Conroe, TX and he preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1980. Mrs. Falk loved playing games, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin, Travis, and Frankie House and one sister, Brenda Rose.
Mrs. Falk is survived by two daughters, Brenda Falk and Vickie Mathis and husband Troy all of Galloway; three sons, Thomas Falk of Mt. Enterprise, Henry Falk of Galloway, and Paul Falk and wife Melonie of Mt. Enterprise; one brother, Ricky House of Conroe; two sisters, Dorothy Rhodes and husband Bob of Magnolia and Linda Cagle and husband Donald of Conroe; special daughter-in-law, Nilde Pugh of Conroe; special son-in-law, Timothy Mathis of Galloway; 14 grandchildren, Brandi Overall, Kimberly Falk, Todd Falk, Travis Falk, April Bing, Henry Falk, Jr., Thomas Falk, Tiffany Mathis, Jessica Mathis, Paul Falk, Jr., Ashley Falk, Colby Falk, Dillon Wedgeworth, and Heather Woods; and 5 great-grandchildren, Deanna and Dustin Pope, Warren Falk, Adin Bing, and Aubree Mathis.
Serving as pallbearers are Thomas Falk, Paul Falk, Thomas Falk, Scotty Rhodes, Paul Falk, Jr., and Charles Parker.
