Dolly Rayson, 86, of Carthage, Texas, passed away Wednesday morning, January 10, 2024, in Carthage. Dolly Faye Beck was born on July 7, 1937, in Carthage, to the late Edgar and Johnnie Marie Hodge Beck. She lived her lifetime in Carthage where she was a member of the First Assembly Church of God in Christ. She worked at Panola General Hospital as a cook for over 20 years. Dolly was also preceded in death by her husbands, Roger Floria Rayson and James Travis Ware; siblings, Carroll Kent Beck and Margie Beck; and son, Vincent Travis Ware.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Thompson, Anita Lynn Ware, and Patrick Fitzgerald Ware; brother, Bernert Ray Beck; grandchildren, Terchelle Thompson and Summer Thompson; great-grandchildren, Izaiah and Erica Thompson; and special niece, Neena Beck Gardner. Numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Holland's Quarter Cemetery under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
