Funeral services for Mrs. Dixie June Hall, age 75 years, of Gary, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Gary with Brother Duane Turner and Brother John Gradberg officiating. Interment will follow in Gary Cemetery under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Hall passed away on Sunday, April 09, 2006 in Carthage, Texas.
Dixie June Weseman Hall was born on June 19, 1930 in Gainesville, Texas to John Walker and Ela Clark Weseman. She married Hugh Derron Hall on January 25, 1948 in Carthage, Texas. She loved to write, talk on the phone, quilting, crossword puzzles, and reading. Mrs. Hall loved her family dearly. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gary. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on September 1, 2001; one brother, Henry Weseman; one sister, Annie Ruth Cox; two sons-in-law, Roger Bradley and Larry Cranford; and one great grandson, Tommy Hall.
Mrs. Hall is survived by three daughters, Martha Ann Saucier and husband Jimmy of Opelousas, Louisiana, Carol Sue White and husband Tony of Amarillo, and Brenda Kay Cranford of Gary; three sons, James T. "Buddy" Hall and wife Debra of Gary, Glen Hall and wife Brenda of Carthage, and Johnny Hall and wife Bobbie of Carthage; one brother, James Weseman and wife Charlene of Ozark, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Linda Weseman of Guthrie, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, Casie Tabanou, Lisa dawn Glidewell, LaMar Hall, Angela Cook, Matthew Hall, Rusty Hall, Casie Cranford, Andy White, Jenny White, Tracy Teer, and Joe Teer; nine great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Glidewell, Jonathan Glidewell, Zelda Tabanou, Lilly White, Sondra Teer, Scarlett Tompkins, Stephenie Teer, and Silvia Teer. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends also survive.
Serving as pallbearers are LaMar Hall, Matthew Hall, Rusty Hall, Andy White, Tracy Teer, and Joe Teer.
