Dian Hudson, 73, of Beckville, TX, passed away on Wednesday evening, June 24, 2020, in Longview. Sara Dian Hull was born on Oct. 31, 1946, in Shreveport, LA to the late Henry Edwin Hull, Sr. and Mary Juanita Knight Hull. Dian graduated with the Carthage High School Class of 1965. She married John Cleveland Hudson on June 5, 1965, at First United Methodist Church in Carthage. Dian began her working career as a dental assistant. She later worked at Birdwell's Department Store and more recently at Wal-Mart. She loved cooking, traveling, and enjoyed bowling. She lived her lifetime in Panola County and was a member of the Beckville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her son, Jason Hudson; sisters, Nancy Seegers and Jeanie Horn; brother, Henry Edwin Hull, Jr.; and son-in-law, Andy Mayfield.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Hudson of Beckville; daughter, Jennifer Mayfield of Beckville; son, Matthew Hudson and wife Christina of Beckville; grandchildren, Jacklyn Bixler and husband Zachary, Kailyn Mayfield, Bailey Johnson and husband Julian, Kendall Mayfield, Hannah Hudson, Rylie Hudson and Holden Hudson; great-grandchildren, Cason Mayfield, Cobyn Bixler and Brylen Johnson; cats, Sassy and Tiger; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeffrey Craft officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Johnny Matsoukas, Chris Hudson, Phillip Kirkendoll, Glenn Seegers, Zachary Bixler, and Julian Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Pierce and Noble Hudson.
