A graveside service for Mrs. Deloys Harvey, 99, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at Bethlehem Cemetery in the Snap Community with Bro. Rodger Cole officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the cemetery prior to the graveside service. Mrs. Harvey passed away on Wednesday evening, Nov. 6, 2013, in Tyler.

Vilie Deloys Colquitt Harvey was born on June 25, 1914, in Panola County, TX to Jasper and Ola Moore Colquitt. She married L.G. "Buddy" Harvey on Oct. 31, 1932, in Panola County and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1998. Mrs. Harvey loved gardening and yard work. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harvey is survived by her daughters, Sue Pitts of Chandler and Bonnie Clakley and husband George of Carthage; one sister, Magdeline Snow of Asheville, AL; two grandchildren, Richard Pitts of Palestine and Lee Clakley and wife Ann of River Hill; five great-grandchildren, Brad, Justin, and Jesse Clakley, Jennifer Florence, and Lora Roach; and five great-great grandchildren, Kyle Clakley, Kaylie, Kinlie, and Kilie Florence, and Victoria McNiel.
