Debra Kaye Sims, 60, of Carthage, Texas, passed away Friday morning, September 27, 2024, in Center, Texas. She was born to James Lincoln Hooper Jr. and Billie Gail Bryant Hooper on January 19, 1964, in Center. Debra attended school in Timpson, Texas.  She was of the Baptist faith. Debra loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her siblings, Danny Hooper and wife Faye, Ann Hooper, and James Hooper and wife Sherry; and uncle, George Bryant. Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
