Deanna "Dee" Nell Lacy Wallace, 74, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away on January 28, 2018 in Columbus, Texas. She was born on April 7, 1943, to Clyde and Edith Virginia Collis Lacy in Blue Ridge, Texas. Dee and her brother Wilford Lacy came to live at an early age with her aunt and uncle, Ermon Newton and Nell Lacy Newton. Dee married William King Wallace on January 9, 1963, in Amarillo, Texas. Dee lived in Nacogdoches and worked in retail sales for Bealls for over 30 years before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, William King Wallace; her parents; her brother, Wilford Lacy; and her aunt and uncle, Ermon Newton and Nell Lacy Newton.

Dee is survived by her sister, Linda Newton Bowen and husband Ronald of Weimar, TX and their family (sons, Chris and Cory Bowen; and grandchildren, Kai, Jaden, and Lindsey) and her sister-in-law, Sidney Myers and her family (children, Sean Myers and wife Mary and April Redmon and husband John; and grandchildren, Sarah, Cody, Braxton, Alexis, and Ashley.)

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, Texas with Rev. John Bingham officiating.
