David Ramsey, 74, of Carthage, Texas, formerly of Thermopolis Wyoming, passed away on Thursday afternoon, February 8, 2024, in Carthage. David Kent Ramsey was born on February 8, 1950, in Thermopolis to the late Garland Allen and Francis Elizabeth Maple Ramsey. He graduated from Thermopolis High School with the class of 1968. Dave served in the Wyoming National Guard and the United States Army. He married Kathryn Louise Boyer on July 24, 1981, in Thermopolis. Dave worked as a police officer, bus aide for the school, and as a flagger in road construction before moving to Carthage in 2022. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and he enjoyed fishing, camping, and woodworking. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Steve and Danny Ramsey.

David is survived by his wife, Kathryn Ramsey; daughters, Cammie Pahl and husband Travis, Giea Kennedy, and Michelle Anderson and husband Chris; sister, Cindy Casciato and husband Conrad; grandchildren, Garrett Maser and wife Kali, Nicole Lapointe and husband Nathan, Reed Maser, Hannah LaRose, Noah Anderson, Mya Anderson, and Aidryk Palmer; and great -grandchildren, Kyleena Richard and Charlee Rose Lapointe.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
