A funeral service for Mr. David (Hody) Henry Beason, age 49, of the Riderville Community in Panola County, TX will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eugene Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Beason passed away on Sunday morning, July 7, 2013, in Longview.

David Henry Beason was born on Jan. 30, 1964, in Carthage, TX to Charles Daniel and Ilene Musick Beason Stewart. He attended Beckville and Carthage schools. David lived his lifetime in Panola County and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Beckville. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Daniel Beason Jr.; his first wife, Shannon Marie Hebert Beason; and his step-father, Darnell Stewart.

Mr. Beason is survived by his mother, Ilene Stewart of Carthage; his wife, Darlene Beason of Riderville; one son, Justin Beason of Beckville; two daughters, Tina Beason of Hallsville and Kathy Bryant of Shreveport; one step-son, Billy Crochet of Louisiana; three brothers, Randy Beason of Grand Bluff, Joe Don Beason and wife Shanyn Marie of Beckville, and Steven Beason of Palestine; and eight grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mr. Beason.

Serving as pallbearers are Henry Twomey, Jonathon Twomey, Steven Coots, James Curry, Frank Curry, and James Bogs.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jesse Gage, James Morton, Wayne Beason, and Dale McCarver.
