A memorial service for Mrs. Darline Ruth Tompkins Henson, 58, of Beckville, TX, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Youngblood Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Carl Anderson officiating.

Darline Ruth Tompkins Henson was born on July 12, 1955, in Carthage, TX to the late Charles Eli Tompkins, I and Ellen Lee Ross Tompkins. She passed away on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 10, 2013, in Tyler, TX.

Darline graduated from high school in Itasca, TX and went on to earn a certificate in cosmetology. She loved going on cruises and crocheting. Darline had lived for the past 14 years in Beckville moving there from Benbrook, TX. She was of the Baptist faith. Darline was preceded in death by one brother, John B. Tompkins and one sister, Becky Lee Tompkins.

Mrs. Henson is survived by one brother, Charles E. Tompkins II of Gilmer; one nephew, Daniel Tompkins of Longview; one niece, Stacy McKee of Longview; special aunt, Sherry Kiper of Carthage, and step-father, George Racicot of Beckville.
