Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ella Rust; brothers, Lawrence, Albin, Arthur, LoWayne, and Bennet Rust; sister, Clarice Jensen; and her loving husband of 24 years, William E. "Bill" Miller.

She is survived by her son, Allen Millerman of Carthage, Texas; three daughters, Kelly Farmer of Carthage, Texas, Kerri Williams of Carthage, Texas and Colleen Holmes, wife of Michael Holmes, of Whitehouse, Texas; two grandchildren, James Farmer of Pearland, Texas and Cody Twomey of Whitehouse, Texas; two step-grandchildren, Gordon and Jackson Holmes of Whitehouse, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Jayden, Autumn and Jaxson Farmer of Pearland, Texas; and a sister-in-law, Noreen Rust of Estherville, Iowa.
