Damon Ray Weaver, 49, of Beckville, TX, passed away on Saturday morning, Jan. 15, 2022, at his home near Beckville. He was born on Aug. 15, 1972, in Longview, TX to Carlton Ray and Eva Elaine Miller Weaver. Damon graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 1991. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was honorably discharged. Damon married Angela Lavaughn Heller on Dec. 23, 1993, in Carthage. He later attended TSTC in Marshall where he earned an Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Dec. 2000. Damon worked as a welder and later as a computer technician. In 2016, Damon was honored with the Giants of Law Enforcement Civilian of the Year award by the Longview Police Dept. for his work in computer tech. He lived most of his life in Panola County and was of the Baptist faith. Damon was preceded in death by his father, Carlton Ray Weaver and his father-in-law, Charles Ramage.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Weaver of Beckville; sons, Brian, Wade and Adam Weaver; mother, Elaine Weaver; brother, Slade Weaver and wife Sandra; in-laws, Leona Wimberly and husband Wayne and Robert Heller and wife Diana; sisters-in-law, Amanda Myers and husband David, Shannon Kirkland and husband Rondall, and Amanda Owens; brothers-in-law, Bryan Heller and wife Julie and Chris Heller and wife Holly; aunts, Bonnie Miller and Ann Lewis; and uncles, Noble Hudson, Mike Miller, and Stanley Miller.

A funeral service with Military Honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Viktor Roudkovski and David Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Martin Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Clay Myers, Chase Myers, Eric Knight, Jacob Knight, Kolby Owens, and Matthew Thorne.
