Dalphine LaTina Walls

Dalphine Walls, age 64, of Carthage, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Dalphine LaTina Lister Walls was born on December 18, 1961, in Carthage, Texas, to the late John D. Lister, Sr. and Billie Jean Rayson Lister. She was raised in Carthage and graduated from Carthage High School with the Class of 1980. That same year, Dalphine married her high school sweetheart, Michael Lane Walls, and together they shared 46 years of love, devotion, and cherished memories. She worked in home healthcare as a private sitter and later earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, dedicating herself to caring for others with compassion and kindness. Dalphine found great joy in working in her flower beds, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her greatest happiness came from caring for and making memories with her beloved grandchildren. She will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and the unwavering devotion she showed to her family and friends throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Billie Jean Rayson Lister and a sister, Shelia Rayson.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Michael Walls of Carthage; her children, Adrian Walls, Atoyah Walls, and Alan Walls; her grandchildren, Drake Walls, Braylen Walls, Ayana Walls, Daillen Walls, and Cam Walls; her siblings, Josephine Rayson, Rosetta Hicks, John D. Lister, Jr., Ella Faye Manning, Kevin Lister, and Jeremy Lister; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the Chapel of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holland Quarters Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Willie Smith, Kenneth Smith, Jimmy Rayson, Jacory Rayson, Byron McKee and Elzie Hicks.
