Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Bellmire, age 87 of Carthage, Texas, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Phillips officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bellmire passed away on Friday afternoon, July 3, 2009, in Carthage.

Daisy Bussard Bellmire was born on July 16, 1921 in Gebo, Wyoming to C.W. and Nellie Marie Fulsass Bussard. She married Herman Seth Bellmire on September 21, 1938 in Wyoming and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Bellmire loved watching car racing and crocheting. She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Mesquite. Mrs. Bellmire moved to Carthage in 2006, from Dallas.

Mrs. Bellmire is survived by one daughter, Wanda Lee Qualls and husband Jim of Beckville; one son, Charles David Bellmire and wife Amanda of Illinois; twin sister, Pansy Personett of Mesquite; sister, Mary Link and husband Alex of Midland; daughter-in-law, Cindy Bellmire of Mesquite; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
