DaBranton Pope, 37, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, in Carthage. DaBranton Ottelle Pope was born on October 31, 1982, in Carthage, TX to Dorthelle Ingram and Marie Pope.  DaBranton graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 2001. He enjoyed attending car shows and especially sound systems.  He worked for Veritas Gas Processing in Troup, TX and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Dorthelle Ingram (Shelia) of Carthage; mother, Marie Pope of Carthage; brothers, Tavares Pope of Houston, Jasabira D. Pope and Kamarious Pope (girlfriend Talova) of Carthage; special friend, DeBreyia Gray of Shreveport, LA and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Thorn officiating. Interment will follow at Holland's Quarter Cemetery near Carthage. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
