Cynthia Holland, 67, of the Del Ray Community, passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 1, 2018. Cynthia Darlene Brewster Holland was born on Jan. 26, 1951, in Ft. Worth to the late John Eldon and Doris Jean Holt Brewster. She graduated from L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, TX with the class of 1969. She attended Tarrant Co. Jr. College and later graduated from Panola College with honors from the LVN program. She married Steve Holland on March 6, 1971, in Bedford. Cindy served as the secretary treasurer for 3-H Lake, Inc. for many years. She moved to Del Ray in 1973, and was a longtime member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chad Austin Holland; and grandson, Jansen Rhyder Holland.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Steve Holland of Del Ray; daughter, Jodie Holland Edwards and husband Justin of Del Ray; son, Josh Holland and wife Stacey of Del Ray; daughter, Rosa Viasana and husband Jon Beach of Sugarland; brothers, Mike Brewster and wife Tricia of North Richland Hills and Jef Brewster of Justin; brothers-in-law, Tim Holland and wife Sue of Shreveport and Terry Holland and wife Debbie Jo of Del Ray; grandchildren, Dylan Cash Holland, Devin Seefluth, and Micah Reese Holland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Tim and Terry Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Walton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jason Holland, David Holland, Matthew Holland, Zane Brewster, Ryan Brewster, and Khakie Jo Holland. Honorary pallbearers are Jace and Kyle Brewster.
