Cynthia King Creel, 69, of Longview, TX, passed away on Thursday night, April 8, 2021, in Longview. She was born on March 13, 1952, in Beckville, TX to the late John Aloysius and Velma Fay Allums King. She graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 1970, and attended Panola College. Cynthia married Dave Calvin Creel on Oct. 21, 1975, in Beckville. She worked for many years at Panola County Courthouse as a legal secretary for Judge Davis Bailey and Danny Buck Davidson and later owned Western Auto in Carthage. Cynthia also owned and operated Creel's Dish T.V. Place in Longview. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed traveling, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Cynthia was a member of the former New Prospect Presbyterian Church in Beckville.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Creel of Longview; daughter, Tracy Tillman and husband Eddie of Beckville; son, Michael Creel and wife Megan of Longview; sister, Patricia Smith and husband Don of Carthage; and grandchildren, Madelyn Creel, Kaitlyn Tillman, and Kinsler Creel.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Chad Smith, Ryan Bond, Frank Allums, Curtis Allums, Wade Allums, Joey Dominique, Bruce Dominique, Jason Dominique, and Bruce Allums.

Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Cedars and Luke Hickman.
