Curtis Donald, 66, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 14, 2020, at his home near Carthage. Curtis Alvin Donald was born on April 11, 1954, in Carthage, to the late Therion Curtis and Emma Louise Godwin Donald. He spent his lifetime in Carthage, attending schools there. Curtis married Diana Lynn Beam on March 23, 2002, in Carthage. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. Curtis worked as an operator and truck driver in the oil field industry. Some of the things Curtis enjoyed the most were mechanic work, riding his motorcycle and playing the guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Curtis Donald; brother, Larry Dean Donald, Sr.; and grandson,  Kevin James Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Donald; sons, T.C. Donald of Hallsville, Michael Yargo and wife Jessica of Carthage, and C. Jay Yargo and wife Jamey of Tennessee; daughters, Michelle Felgate and husband Robert and Casey Beam, both of Carthage, and Crystal Mills and husband Jeffrey of Grand Saline; sister, Letha Vaughn and husband Keith of Carthage; uncle, Harold Godwin and wife Becky of Clayton; and sister-in-law, Debbie Donald of DeBerry. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Rodger Cole officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be J.C. Hudson, Charles Head, Steven Vaughn, Robert Felgate, Dan "Shorty" Saylor, and Michael Yargo.

Honorary pallbearers are James Dean Stephens and Jeffrey Stephens.
