Crystal Marshall, 42, of Carthage, Texas, passed away Thursday evening, March 23, 2023, in Beckville, Texas. Crystal Nicole Logan was born in Longview, Texas on November 18, 1980, to Gary Wayne and Sheila Ann Smith Logan. She graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 1999. Crystal participated in various sports in high school, and her favorite was softball. Later Crystal enjoyed road biking with Randy at multiple racing events throughout Texas. Crystal enjoyed vacationing with family and friends; her favorite vacation activities were snow skiing, trout fishing and RV camping. Crystal also greatly enjoyed arts, crafts, photography and refinishing old furniture in the garage. Mostly, Crystal treasured loving her family, husband and two sons, Cameron and Brett. Crystal LIVED!

Crystal continued her education at UT Tyler and Texas A&M University in Commerce where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Photography. She married Randall Scott Marshall on June 30, 2001, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Crystal was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ollie and Johnnie Smith and J.D. and Dollie Logan.

Crystal is survived by her parents, Gary and Sheila Logan; husband, Randy Marshall; sons, Cameron and Brett Marshall; brother, Clinton Logan and wife Melissa and their son, Lucas Miles Logan; aunt and uncle, Pam and Terry Smith; in-laws, Leann and Barry Marshall; sister-in-law, Holly Bonner and husband David and their children, Caston and Halle Bonner; and grandfather-in-law, Joe Morton. Numerous cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Freddy Mason and John Pages officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery.  A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Bonner, Clinton Logan, Randy Marshall, Patrick Morton, Clay Nyvall, Barrett Smith, Steven Smith, and Erik Walker.

Honorary pallbearers are Gary Logan, Barry Marshall, Mike Morton, Joe Morton, and Terry Smith.
