Connie Jo Crawford, 68, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Wednesday morning, Nov. 1, 2017, in Carthage. She was born on Dec. 16, 1948, in Peoria, IL to the late Irving and Jacqueline King Cohen. She graduated from Port Neches Groves High School with the class of 1966. Mrs. Crawford married Curtis Neal Crawford on Jan. 28, 1971, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 11, 2008. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Justin Crawford and wife Daniell of Carthage and Candace Crawford of Carthage; brothers, Doug Cohen of Peoria, IL, Jake Cohen and wife Laura of Peoria, IL, Chris Cohen and wife Jean of Washington, IL, and Craig Cohen and wife Mary of Washington, IL; and grandchildren, Haylee, Makayla, Grayson, and Kadence. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Mrs. Crawford.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Teresa Bagley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ignacio Perez, Chris Nealy, Casey Ishee, and Brandon Everett.
