Obituary

A funeral service for Collin Devon Williams, 17, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at Northside Christian Center in Carthage with Chaplains Bruce Crawford and Billy Pinkerton and Pastor Aaron Bequette officiating under the direction o Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro, LA. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Collin passed away on Tuesday night, Nov. 5, 2013, in Panola County, TX due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Collin Devon Williams was born on Sept. 28, 1996, in West Monroe, LA to Darrell Lynn and Kayla Cherie Rawls. Collin moved to Carthage from West Monroe in May of 2011, and was a student at Carthage High School. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia and Durham Williams and four uncles, J.C., Shorty, Bill, and Jim.

Collin is survived by his parents, Darrell Williams and Shelisa Williams of Carthage and Kayla and Billy Rawls of West Monroe; seven siblings, Jon, Schyler, Lynnzie, Starla, Alanina, Kayna, and Landen; aunts, Shirley, Sally, Wanda, Angela, Martha, and April; grandmothers, Patricia McNease and Flo West; uncles, George, Toby, and Donald; and cousins, Halie, Dwight, Peighton, and Pyper. Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive Collin.

Serving as pallbearers are the Cossacks Motorcycle Club.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are Tony Grivet and Rex Wall.
