Clint Woran Stephenson, 40, of Gary, TX, passed away on Thursday evening, March 14, 2019, in Beckville, TX due to injuries sustained in a UTV accident. He was born on June 10, 1978, in Carthage, TX to Louie Carroll Stephenson and Gwen Manchaca Stephenson. Clint attended school in Gary, and was a Gary High School graduate with the class of 1996. He then went to Barber School in 1997, and was a barber in Rockwall and Kilgore before becoming owner and operator of Clint's Barber Shop in Carthage in 1998.  Clint was a former member of the Carthage Volunteer Fire Dept. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carthage. Clint was preceded in death by his father; uncle, Mickey Stephenson; paternal grandparents, Melma and Frank Stephenson; and maternal grandparents, Leelon and John Manchaca.

He is survived by his mother, Gwen Thurman and husband Raymond of Jacksonville; son, Lee Stephenson of Tatum; daughter, Jacqelyn Brian and husband Brady of Turnertown; mother of his children, Amber Bell; aunt, Loretta Turlington and husband Dean of Marshall; uncle, Caddell Stephenson and wife Gaye of Timpson; double first cousins, Monica Malinosky and husband J.J. of Marshall and Loren Stephenson of Gary; first cousins, Brian Stephenson of Nacogdoches and Whitney Shelton and husband Cody of Sulpher, LA; and grandson, Blayden Brian.  He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Bethel Cemetery in Gary. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Collin Underwood, Todd Kirkland, Brian Stephenson, Grant Stephenson, Jack Stephenson, and Shane Courtney.
