Mrs. Cleta Fern Marshall, 95 of Gary, TX passed away November 20, 2020 in Carthage, TX. Mrs. Marshall was born February 4, 1925 in White County, IL to Dewey and Audrey Mobley Austin. She married Milton Marshall August 6, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, MO and together they celebrated 62 years until he preceded her in death on May 31, 2011. Mrs. Marshall was a charter member of Eastside Baptist Church in Gary. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson, Jeffrey Len Marshall; and two sisters.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Marshall and wife Mary of Henderson, John Marshall and wife Barbara of Gary; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three great, great grandchildren; two nephews, Stanley Jamerson, Chris Peters; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Marshall at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the Eastside Baptist Church in Gary with Bro. Dale Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Gary Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Marshall will be from 1-2:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
