Clara Edith Bozeman, 96, of Tyler, TX, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, in Tyler. She was born on June 1, 1921, in Converse, LA, to the late Archie and Lillie Soloma Armstrong Smith. She married Cecil Rudolph Bozeman and he preceded her in death on May 7, 2011.  She spent her life as a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers and her dogs. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her nephew, Paul Cassel and nieces, Patricia Cassel and Tina Davidson all of Benton, LA.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Carthage with Dr. Dale Reed officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.  Mrs. Bozeman will lie in state from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
