Cynthia Jean Faircloth, 63, of Longview, Texas, formerly of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Thursday afternoon, July 20, 2023, in Longview. She was born on November 8, 1959, in Carthage, Texas to the late Mitchell J. "Shorty" and Gloria Jean Duke Davidson. Cindy graduated with the Carthage High School class of 1978. She worked for Carthage I.S.D. in the High School and Jr. High cafeterias and was also a cafeteria worker at Carthage Healthcare Nursing Home. Cindy was a member of the First Christian Church in Carthage. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Bryce Faircloth.

She is survived by her children, Amber Daniel and fiancé Chad Grimes, David Daniel and wife Maegan, and Brandon Faircloth and wife Alicia; brother, Michael Davidson and wife Georgeana; grandchildren, Austin Downing, Ashley Essex and husband Hunter, Alan Downing, and Kinslee Faircloth; and great-grandchildren, Aubree, Bryson, Waylon, and Kohen Essex.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are Ryder Davidson, Cameron Grimes, Landon Davidson, Rodney Wynn, and Chuck Gaston.
