Christy Goode, 54, of DeBerry, Texas, passed away Thursday morning, October 17, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. Christy Lynn Strong was born on October 20, 1969, in Gladewater, Texas to the late Alvin Lynn and Judy Reynolds Strong. She graduated from Gladewater High School with the class of 1987. Christy was of the Baptist faith. She married Roger Lee Goode on June 30, 1987, at the First Baptist Church in Gladewater. Christy worked as a florist for many years at Albertson's in Longview and more recently at The Violet Shop in Carthage. She loved doing crafts, and she loved her sweet fur babies, Duncan, Ollie, Shasta, and Cappy. Christy was also preceded in death by her sister, Connie Ann Davis.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Goode; brother-in-law, Richard Keith Goode; special friends, Kim Cranford-Early and husband Shane and Bobbie Cranford; God daughter, Amberley Spanial and husband Nick and their children; and her fur babies. Many other special friends also survive.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
