Charlie Lynn Tyl, 72, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on Thursday night, May 7, 2020, in Carthage, Texas. He was born on April 7, 1948, in Texarkana, Arkansas to the late Charlie Frank and Billie Jo Roberts Tyl. Mr. Tyl attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church School in Texarkana, Texas and graduated from Liberty Eylau High School with the class of 1966. He worked at Buchanan Bottling Co. in Texarkana, now Pepsi-Cola, for 38 years, retiring as a supervisor. Mr. Tyl loved working on cars and was a man of great strength and knowledge. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Wayne Tyl and Mark Anthony Tyl; and a niece, Amanda Tyl.

Mr. Tyl is survived by his daughter, Emily Raines of Tyler; sister, Cindy Waller and husband Howard of Nash; grandchildren, Spencer and Peyton Raines; nieces, Tracey Wiley and husband Dusty of Queen City and Marisa Goodwin; nephew, Lance Braley; and mother of his daughter, Susan Vloedman of Linden.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
