A funeral service for Mrs. Charlcie Armstrong Wills, age 84, of Fair Play, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Landtroop officiating. Interment will follow in Waldrop Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wills passed away on Tuesday morning, May 27, 2014, at her home in Fair Play.

Charlcie Armstrong Wills was born on Oct. 29, 1929, in Rusk County, TX, to the late Lonnie Burnard and Virgie Truelock Armstrong. She attended Henderson schools. Mrs. Wills married Willis Wills on Nov. 1, 1947, in Carthage. She loved listening to bluegrass music and gardening. Mrs. Wills lived in the Fair Play Community all of her life and was a member of the Carthage United Pentecostal Church.

Mrs. Wills is survived by her husband, Willis Wills of Fair Play; one son, Lee Wills and wife Laura of the Chapman Community; two daughters, Sue Ross and husband Mike of Carthage and Brenda Holland and husband Donnie of Carthage; three sisters, Billie Holland of Fair Play, Dean Duncan and husband Mack of Laneville, and Joan McName and husband Charles of Kilgore; seven grandchildren, Karen Joines, Chad Nations, Josh Ross, Katie Pace, Kyle Wills, Kristen Wills, and Kelsey Wills; ten great-grandchildren, Christina, Bridget, Colin, Konner, Cole, Cade, Kooper, Kennedy, Cannon, and Jackson Lee.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and nurses of Heart's Way Hospice for the loving care shown to Mrs. Wills.

Serving as pallbearers are Lee Wills, Mart Joines, Chad Nations, Josh Ross, Kyle Wills, and Kevin Pace.
