Cathey Hodge, 75, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Thursday morning, September 29, 2022, at her home in Carthage. Cathey Youngblood was born on August 25, 1947, in Timpson, Texas to the late Lee Ivy and Lula Belle Chandler Youngblood. She married Theron Odell Hodge and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2004. Cathey was also preceded in death by sons, Lonnie Odell Hodge and Jimmy Ray Hodge.

She is survived by her children, Cathy Lee Rickett and fiancé Mark Vulich, Stephanie Ann Guynes, and Dillon Hodge and a grandson, Austin Hodge.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Mt. Bethel Cemetery with Cody Bird officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
