Funeral services for Mrs. Casodrey Melba "Cas" Williams, age 88, of Tatum, TX, will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park near Carthage. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams passed away on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 3, 2010, at her home near Tatum.

Casodrey Melba Adams "Cas" Williams was born on March 23, 1922, in Beckville, TX to Jack and Carrie Belle Blackmon Adams. Mrs. Williams was a self made entrepreneur and a homemaker. She has lived near Tatum since 2008, moving from Longview. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by one sister, Elise Ruth Whitaker and one brother, Doyle Adams.

Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Johnny Shivers and wife Karrie of Tatum; one brother, Bill Adams and wife Shorty of Longview; one sister, Margie Hargis and husband Jim of Longview; two grandchildren, Joey Shivers and wife Ashley of Tatum and Lisa Shivers Ryan of Jasper; and four great-grandchildren, Joey Dwayne Shivers, II, Crystal Shivers, Jame Ryan, and Joey Madison Ryan.

Serving as pallbearers are Chat Johnson,Luis Mendaz,Ricarld Gibbard and George Jones.
