Carol Peverill, 72, of Carthage, TX, passed from this life on Nov. 21, 2020, at her home in Carthage. Vivian Carol Deeds was born July 26, 1948, at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, LA to the late James Laverne and Maudine Jacks Deeds. Vivian graduated from Aldine High School in Houston with the class of 1966. She raised four children throughout her life. Mrs. Peverill spent many years working in the restaurant industry as a cook and made the most beautiful "mile high" pies you've ever seen. She married the love of her life, Fred Peverill, on Nov. 20, 2004, having celebrated 16 years of marriage the day before her passing. With her marriage to Mr. Peverill, she was blessed with two children that she loved like her very own.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Fred Peverill of Carthage; daughter, Missy Monroe and husband Brian of Carthage; son, David Harrison and wife Tammy of Magnolia, TX; son, Brandon Morrison of Carthage; daughter, Angie Gurwell and husband Ryan of Ames, IA; and son Mike Peverill and wife Alie of Ankeny, IA; along with 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Peverill is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Russell and Glen Deeds; and daughter, Lynette Harrison.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
