Carla Davis, age 62, of Carthage, Texas, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 5, 2025, in Carthage. Carla Jean Hudson was born on July 11, 1962, in Carthage to Robert Earl Hudson, Sr. and Marion Beverly Nikkola Hudson. She attended school at Channelview and North Shore in Houston, Texas. She married Mark Stephen Davis on December 21, 1979, in Houston. Carla was a supervisor at Specialty Coil in Longview, Texas. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, and she loved watching her grandchildren play travel ball every chance she got. Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marion Hudson; brother, Kim Wade Hudson; infant sister, Brenda Jane Hudson; brother Terrance Eli "Terry" Hudson; and sister, Connie Rutan.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Davis; children, Stacy Christy and husband Joe and Collin Davis and wife Preslea; siblings, Robbie Hudson and wife Lydia and Candice Davis and husband Eric; brother-in-law, Joe Rutan; and grandchildren, Ashlyn Christy, Natalie Christy, and Alex Christy.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025, at the Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Sis. Betty Wills officiating. Interment will follow in Gary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Collin Davis, Abdon Rubi, Alex Christy, Joe Christy, Jeffrey Hudson, and Nicholas Hudson.
