Calvin Jenkins, 60, of Tenaha, Texas, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, in Nacogdoches. Calvin Dewayne Jenkins was born August 25, 1960, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Rochester Jenkins and Ruby Lee Levingston Jenkins.  He accepted Christ at an early age and attended BoBo Church.  Calvin attended Timpson High School and later moved to California where he flourished in his construction and security trade.  He had a love for hunting and gardening, and taking care of his grandmother and father was a top priority for him.  He was preceded in death by his mother; Ruby L. Jenkins; grandson, Kayson Jenkins; grandmother, Louisa Jenkins; grandfather, Clifford Jenkins; great-grandmother, Rosie Bolton; aunts, Mary Moore and Legatha Demings; and uncle, Danny Jenkins.

Survivors include his father; Rochester Jenkins (Joy) of Tenaha; sister, Felicia McWilliams of San Leandro, California; children; Jakiya Jenkins of Red Oak, Texas, Ja'Maray Jenkins (Jasmine) of Carrollton, Texas, and Jalaina Jenkins, and Joshua Jenkins of Oakland, California; grandchild, Karter Dewayne Lee Jenkins of Carrollton, Texas; aunts, Barbara Sanchez of BoBo, Texas, Vivian Patrick of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Rosie Drake (Roy), also of Bobo; uncle, Calvin Jenkins, Sr. (Dorenia) of Union City, California; special friends, Jerry White and Keith Riggans; and cousin/brother, Kevin McCoy and Preston Demings. Calvin's memory will linger on with an abundance of cousins, relatives, friends, and those in the community in which he grew up and lived.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Elder R.D. McGlown officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jenkins Memorial Cemetery, 152 County Road 4644, Tenaha, Texas.

Pallbearers are Keith Riggans, Antonio Sanchez, Ellymar Moore, and Desmond Demings. Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Jenkins, Sr., Preston Demings, Kevin McCoy, and Roy Drake.
