Harold Brent Cain, age 63, of Longview, Texas, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at his home near Longview. Born on June 15, 1962, in Perryton, Texas, Brent was the son of the late Harold Dean and Iva Chess Oglesby Cain.

Brent grew up in Kansas and graduated from Scott City High School with the class of 1980. He later earned two Associate's Degrees—one in Auto Mechanics and another in Technology—reflecting his lifelong interest in working with his hands and mastering new skills.

An avid outdoorsman, Brent found joy in hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his son, Luke, whom he loved deeply. In May of 2025, Brent relocated from Colorado to Longview to be closer to family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ronnie Martin; and his sister, Connie Danielson.

Brent is survived by his son, Daniel Luke Cain; nieces, Kristi Pecht (William), Dana Brown, Leslie Kirkpatrick (Danny), and Cheryl Jones; and nephews, Todd Pennycuff and Robbie Danielson (Maribeth).

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
