Brad Whitehead

Brad Whitehead, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Carthage. He was born in Lockney, Texas on November 2, 1959, to George Ray and Goldie Faye Bradley Whitehead. Brad was a graduate of Carthage High School. He worked for Just in Time Sanitation Services in Carthage until his retirement. Brad was preceded in death by his father; and wife, Sherry Whitehead, whose memories remain cherished by the family.

He is survived by his mother, Faye Whitehead; his sister, Goldie Hall, and her husband, David; his niece, Dawn Hall; and his step-sons, Steve Jacks, Jeff Jacks and wife Shannon, and Greg Jacks. Brad also leaves behind numerous step-grandchildren.

The family would like to invite friends to a Celebration of Life service at 4:30 on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Southside Baptist Church, 1218 South Market Street, Carthage, Texas.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
