Bonnie Darlene Taylor Gilbert, 58, of Anahuac, TX, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, in Houston, TX. Bonnie Darlene Taylor was born on Dec. 16, 1960, in Beaumont, TX to Shirley Keeton Hankamer. She attended Silsbee schools. Darlene loved animals. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Matthews, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Annie Matthews and her son, Ronnie Gilbert, Jr. both of Anahuac; mother, Shirley Hankamer of Longview; sister, Beth Taylor Buckner and husband Jack Daniels of Longview; brothers, Butch Taylor and wife Kim of Evadale, Paul Rogers and wife Dena of Hampshire Fannett, and Murray Rogers of Hampshire Fannett; and three grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at Cornerstone Church, 3820 SH 124, Winnie, TX with Kevin Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Butch Taylor, Paul Rogers, Murray Rogers, Ty Taylor, Wyatt Taylor, Keeton Rogers, and Reese Rogers.
